An Introduction

Lets take a little walk while I tell you a little about myself and future plans.....

My name is Ed, and most of the time my wife and I live in SE Michigan, and as often as possible get to our place in SE Kentucky. Long story short, I love dogs. Over the thirty plus years we have been married, other than a handful of days we have always had at least one dog. I especially have a soft spot in my heart for the Great Pyrenees, they have a unique personality that I really like (minus the hole my little one just dug).

As many of you may know these dogs as with any other type of dog often find themselves in bad situations, not always but I suspect most often due to people. While I have and will continue to give to charities and causes that touch me, I wish to do more. My store is called Guardians Rest and the goal is to offer gifts for sale, and in return use the funds to help as many dogs as possible. That may be by taking in more dogs myself (when the time and place are right) or by assisting financially those who are already doing the hard job of caring for the seemingly unending amount of dogs that are in need.

 I often think that because people are capable of doing by all accounts some rather terrible things, we get to see the things that some rather amazing people can do. I just want to help as much as I can.
